Interjoint®

The Interjoint connector is an interlocked connection system that allows untrained people to quickly and safely install steel frames. The connector is based on our patented building technology, the Structural Steel Plug for Bi-Axial Moment Connections (US 11,230,838 B1), that employs a gravity-assisted structural plug assembly to join structural steel members together without all the complexity associated with onsite bolting and welding. The plug takes advantage of a specially engineered flanged cruciform joint, brackets and deflecting latches to substitute the current means.

This building technology aims to help engineers, builders and developers eliminate the need to employ highly-skilled labor to build new structures. By consequence, our Interjoint connectors reduce costs associated with the construction process and the steelwork erection.
